Tagged!

I have been tagged for the first time ever. C B James has tagged me for 6 random facts so here goes:

1. I have seen Iron Maiden in concert - not my cup of tea these days but the 16 year old me enjoyed it immensely

2. I did my MA dissertation on Ann Radcliffe's The Mysteries of Uldolpho.

3. I'm a Capricorn

4. I was in the first ever year to take GCSEs (rather than the O level exam at 16)

5. I used to temp for the Inland Revenue debt collection department in my holidays from University

6. My favourite childhood holiday destination was the Isles of Scilly.

I have to tag six bloggers to do the same task apparently. As it is random fact tag I thought I would tag six random bloggers, rather than ones that I know already. I used the random feature on the Bookaholic Blogring - you can see the box in the side bar on the right at the bottom (opposite the Italian Holiday reading book list). Thanks for tagging me. I always love reading these, and I will do this meme this weekend! By the way I read The Mysteries of Udolpho not too long ago. It was great fun and I enjoyed it immensely. I've got several other of her books and I hope to read them sometime soon! Looking at your sidebar--we have similar tastes in books! I'm reading the Sarah Bower book right now and greatly enjoying it!

I loved going to the Scillies as a child, as well. When I went back as an adult with my own children, it was just as magical -- though the seawater was far colder than I remembered it!
