The slow blogging of late has been caused by being very busy with the book business. So busy, in fact, that it is interfering with my reading not just my blogging. I have however recently finished both Let the Right one In, and Conceit by Mary Novik. They are extremely different books but both excellent. Neither though should be given to anyone's maiden aunt, but I other wise recommend them both. Reviews will follow!
Since I am too tired to read often in the evenings and we don't have a TV (haven't had one for most of my adult life) I decided something needed to be done on the lighter entertainment front. I have therefore succumbed at last and joined LoveFilm. The fact I had watched just about everything I fancied at our library promptedthis decision and on LoveFilm I can now make a lovely wish list of films from the last 90 years and they post them out to me as I post watched DVD's back. My first two arrived yesterday. I have the Swedish Let the Right On In and The Last King of Scotland. Maybe neither can be really said to be very "light" but they'll make a change from not being able to follow a line of text because my eyes are too tired.
Do you have any bookish DVD recommendations for me to add to my list?
