I do like Persephone Books, and spent some time at Christmas composing lists of their books for my beloved family when they asked me what I would like. (And not one did I get, alas)

Isn't it infuriating when you keep selling books you want to read yourself? I sold "Island Africa - the Evolution of Africa's Rare Plants" which I was longing to read but thought was so deeply obsure no one would want it and I had months to get round to it. How wrong I was.

I got a copy from NB herself a few years ago and enjoyed it greatly. Time to revisit it, I think.
