This sounds like great fun. Unfortunately, I've nothing like that near enough to drive to at the current price of gasoline.

CJ, my partner, is a big poetry fan. I'll stear him towards these two.

Agree entirely that Armitage is the best contender for Poet Laureate (with my apologies to all the women on the shortlist). I read about his band in one of the Sunday mags a while ago but haven't heard it yet. And I haven't been to one of his readings, either - sounds like I've really been missing out!
