I read Mist over Pendle when I was in my teens, and it made a big impression. And recently I found another of Neill's books, Witchfire at Lammas (I do love raking through those boxes outside secondhand bookshops), which made a good read in the days before Hallowe'en.

I've not read Witchfire at Lammas and must try to get hold of a copy. Thanks Geranium Cat.
