What bad luck to get such a leak... what fantastic luck (a) not to have your stock affected, (b) not to have your relationship with your neighbours affected, (c) not to have your kitchen destroyed, (d) to get a plumber out so quickly!

Hope a fun and happy Christmas was had by all despite aqueous issues!

"aqueous issues" - I like it! And thanks, yes, very lucky all round!

Wonderful to have good relationships with the neighbours, and to get a plumber out on these days. Belated Christmas greetings to you as well.

So sorry to hear about the burst pipe, but glad you were able to stop major damage that might have affected your business. I hope you're able to now put it all behind you.

Best wishes to you and your family for a Happy New Year and a successful 2011.

I am a bit tardy on commenting on holiday posts so I'm glad you're tardy on posting! I hope the troubles are over and that you can just enjoy the new year!

Sorry to hear about your burst waterworks and glad you managed to get a plumber. I hope the New Year celebrations will be warm and dry and best wishes for the coming year.

Goodness, a very narrow squeak! All the best for a dry and happy new year.

A belated Happy Christmas to you too, and an early Happy New Year!

I'm so glad your leak wasn't worse - what a terrible end to 2010 book damage would have been...
I hope you had a merry Christmas? Many thanks for all your informative and entertaining posts this year and here's to a great 2011!

Thank you all for your good wishes everyone! There would have been nowt worse than soggy books indeed!
