Happy new year, Catherine!

I really must read A Taste of Sorrow. It's been on my shelf since I was last in England (a year and a half ago now!), and I keep meaning to get to it. And I think Blackmoor is on my list as well.

Most of my favorite reads from this year were from the "long tail". I suppose I prefer to read some books that have already established themselves and can practically assure me a good experience. Many new releases just don't stand up to my hopes about them. That's good for used booksellers though, right? :) Have a great new year!

Very good choice, I love Like Bees to Honey.

Stumbled across your blog on Savidge Reads... just had to mention that "Juxtabook" is uber, uber clever. Love it!

Sorry for the delay in repsonding - thank you all for taking the time to comment.

And LiteraryLollipop - thank you!
