I kind of meant for my little button to be something of a gag, but it would be great if it caught on and got more people actually reading and commenting on reviews.

I'm in. The whole thing about commenting got me thinking about book blogs and what's the point of them, so blog post to follow. James, I hope you don't mind if I play this forward a bit and steal your "little button".

I'll be interested to see where you take this Jessica. Though just to say I don't think comments are the only measure of popularity. Some posts seem to get a lot of hits but not many comments - it can feel like you're talking to yourself even though you're not at all!
